Birthday Parties at Chuck E. Cheese’s
|
We list over 500 Chucky Cheese’s family entertainment centers, where you can have your next birthday party. You can either search by location, or get all locations for one of the Chuck E. Cheese’s operators below and refine the search for your local area:
At Chuck E. Cheese’s children exchange money for tokens, to use them later for video arcade games. Once you play a game, you are awarded with a number of tickets you can later exchange for a gift. Chuck E Cheeses is trying to replace now the token/ticket-based system with refillable cards.
Chuck is actually a rat, an anthropomorphic character, a person who wears a full body costume and is generally seen walking around the gameroom and showroom. This mouse - company’s logo and mascot - is not allowed to speak and can only imply his intentions with hand gestures. The E comes from entertainment, and the name Cheese was intended to make a person’s mouth bend into a smile when spoken.
Other characters at ChuckeCheese include a chicken (Helen Henny), a hound dog (Jasper T. Jowls), an Italian pizza chef (Pasqually Pieplate) and a pizza breakdancer (Morgan Freeberg).

In the Live Show, the costumed Chuck E. Cheese dances with the guests and sings Happy Birthday to the Birthday Star (i.e. your birthday kid). This show is performed in front of stage in the showroom, unlike the Road Show, performed outside the normal showroom, where children can dance to win free tickets.

Whole families are stamped with a unique identification number, while reserved Birthday Parties are giving an id number in invisible ink, that reacts only to the blacklight directly over the kid check booth. Guests stamps are checked on the way out to ensure children belong to the adults with whom they are leaving. The Kid Check booth is monitored at all times by an employee and is never left unattended.
At Chuckie Cheese, they clean and sanitize their games every night with an antibacterial sanitizing solution, but with the large amount of kids who come through there, a large amount of bacteria may travel as well.
After one kid claimed to have gotten ringworm from a Chuckee Cheese restaurant, several restaurant locations had the samples tested for bacteria and revealed that they were contaminated with bacteria. One swab found the presence of a rare cause of respiratory tract infections, wound and blood infections. However, expect some bacteria to be at any restaurant. Nothing can be 100% germ free and fortunately we have an immune system to protect ourselves from this stuff.
Chucky Cheese is mostly about pizza, but you can enhance your party with chicken wing, veggie or sandwich platters, ice cream and chocolate cakes. Guests can get special Birthday Star Medallions and foil Balloon Bouquet Centerpiece with mini lunch boxes. The Birthday Star gets 100 tickets.
A birthday party reservation can be made online and, once you get a 12-digit reservation number, you can later change its date or even cancel it. Online reservations for birthday parties at Chuck E Cheese get you an additional 20 free tokens. You can also design, print and send online birthday party invitations and Thank You notes, after the party. Unreserved walk-in birthday parties are also possible, without reserving a package. But they do not include the birthday package items or a reserved table.
Chuckee Cheese encourages birthday parties held during the week (Monday-Thursday), to avoid the crowd and having even more fun. You get unlimited time at your table plus a total of $7 in tokens per child on the basic package.

this article sure is a commercial for chuckecheeses, in reality the workers often leave the Kid check station unattended and have been featured in our local news in San Antonio for allowing people to leave with kids even when the numbers didn’t match up with the stamps (some people tested them purposely). They have done a little better after cameras were installed because of the bad publicity but the Kid Check program is not fool-proof whatsoever, the minimum wage workers don’t really seem to take it that seriously. |

@Amy, no, it’s not a commercial and nobody got paid for it. Any comments (like yours) are welcome and helpful to our visitors, for more information. |

the kid check stand is a courtesy provided by the store to help keep children safe. it is NOT a substitution for supervising your children. If your child gets out the door with an adult that isn’t you, isnt that really your fault for not watching your child? When it gets busy in that place, it is absolutely impossible for one worker standing at the door to be 100% accurate on anything. Parents need to watch their kids, bottom line. Chuck E.’s isnt a daycare facility. |

If you all love to go to Chuck E Cheese’s, why not go to Kangarooz in Spanish Fort. |

I have had parties at Chuck e Cheese in the past but I find that the staff is not helpful nor is it an interesting or unique idea for a party. I had the people at Dragonfly Dulou in Los Angeles help plan my last party and it turned out amazing. I felt like the children were in good hands throughout the event. Even the parents had a great time. |

There’s nothing wrong with Chuck E Cheese. But everyone’s had a party there. If you’re looking for a unique place for a kids birthday, I’d recommend Rolling Robots in Los Angeles. I had a party there this summer and it was amazing. The kids build a robot, then play with it in an interactive Gaming Arena. There’s a very helpful staff there to assist the kids and to take care of anything you need. Even the other parents joined in! |
