Martial arts develop oneself physically, mentally, spiritually and to have a good character. They focus on physical fitness, athletic ability, self-defense skills, enhancement of one’s speed, power, and flexibility, and the development of well rounded and versatile Martial Artists, abilities to focus and concentrate. Martial Arts help to develop determination and strong minds by teaching that anything is possible, through a “Yes, I Can” attitude. Students learn to believe in themselves and what they are doing, and to never give up. They develop respect, discipline, control, and a positive mental attitude.

There are some instructors that can come to your location, but it’s preferrable to choose a package that organizes the party at one of their schools. Beside the traditional and authentical Japanese or Asian style “dojo” the school can provide, there is the aspect of planning, setting-up and cleanning-up the mess, which is usually totally in charge of the school. Sometimes parents can choose various themes such as: Ninja Turtles, Power Rangers, Samurai Party.

The party usually takes one or two hours, with one hour martial arts instruction and training. This includes musical weapons and self-defense demonstrations. Kids will warm-up and do exercises and stretches.

There is at least one supervisor to take care of everything. This is usually a trained Black Belt instructor (with the highest rank in Martial Arts skills!), that may also provide entertaining with short demonstration of his skills. Parents bring a camera-its a must. And invite the other parents to stay and relax in a comfortable room or watch and enjoy the excitement and energy of their own child’s activity.

After the initial training and demonstration, kids will be exposed to various fun activities, exercises and martial arts games. Such as the Ninja Trail, an obstacle course where you will use the skills you have learned to fight off the imaginary Ninjas. Depending on the school, other fun activities include Ninja Balloon Breaking, Karate Obstacle Course, break a Pinata, Official Karate Dodge Ball , Ninja Tug of War Challenge, Karate Gladiators Joust… You may even learn how to count from one to ten in Japanese.

Safety

Childrens must be 4 years old and up. There is no prior Martial Arts experience required to participate!

Some might still believe martial arts are rather for boys and encourage fighting and violence. This is totally wrong! Look at the popularity Martial Arts Birthday Parties reached these last couple of years and you’ll better understand there are not many environments where your kid can learn something invaluable for the rest of his life and have a lot of fun and excitement at the same time.

Beyond the fun entertainment, that they usually watch in movies or on TV, there is a huge educational gain. Martial Arts schools teach good behavior and self-confidence. This is the perfect way to introduce children who are shy about trying the martial arts. They often feel more secure in a festive environment with lots of friends and good nutrition. Unlike indoor playgrounds and bowling alleys, your child’s party is the only party going on in a safe, clean, and orderly atmosphere, in a nonviolent setting, to play awesome action-oriented games. Respectfull to a Japanese tradition, in most schools all people who enter the training floor must remove their shoes. One of the most popular birthday party is in Karate, but also consider Jiu-Jitsu, Tae-Kwon-Do, King-Fu and plenty of other martial arts. Most of them are self-defense oriented and anybody can learn lessons good for all their lives.

Each party includes a free short skills lesson. Learn how to safely do rolls and cartwheels on mats, how to block drills and kick the airshields. Everything is supervised and guided by the instructor(s), in a nonviolent and professional manner, so you don’t have to worry anybody can get hurt. In fact, most schools avoid doing any dangerous stunts, but they still don’t lack in fun, entertainment and excitement.
